Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related human services field for QMHP credentialing.
  • Case Manager II requires 1 year of behavioral health case management; Case Manager III requires 2 years.
  • Willing to work weekends; flexible scheduling during the week.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and insurability under agency vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ethical, trauma-informed communications at all times.
  • Conduct crisis responses and coordinate with Diversion Center staff and at-risk individuals.
  • Perform comprehensive life needs assessments considering the client, providers, and support network.
  • Allocate ~50% of time to Diversion and other crisis platforms.
  • Maintain documentation with 95%+ compliance on all cases.
  • Respond to on-call activations 24/7/365, including holidays and weekends.
  • Foster positive relationships with law enforcement, facilities, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct community follow-ups, assess safety, and provide referrals as needed.
  • Adhere to the agency code of conduct and report any concerns.
