Related Affordable seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support a 250-unit affordable housing community in Richmond, VA. You will work with the Community Manager on leasing, admin tasks, resident relations, and compliance with affordable housing programs.

Responsibilities include managing accounts, rent processes, handling resident concerns, and coordinating events to foster a strong community. Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing.
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs (e.g., Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC) and compliance.
• Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards (or similar software).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to service.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to protect confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leasing, marketing, recertifications and admin duties.
• Handle AP/AR, aid in rent collection, and manage delinquencies.
• Address resident concerns and organize retention events.
• Ensure adherence to affordable housing program requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance to uphold property standards.
• Prepare reports to monitor community performance.
