Job summary

Related Affordable seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations of an affordable housing community. You will collaborate with the Community Manager to maintain a welcoming environment for residents, handling admin tasks, resident relations, and compliance with affordable housing regulations.

Responsibilities include assisting in leasing, marketing, recertifications, accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and working with maintenance to ensure safe, well-maintained

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing.
Familiarity with affordable housing programs and compliance requirements.
Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards or similar software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with passion for great living experiences.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues professionally.

Responsibilities

Assist in leasing activities, marketing, recertifications, and general admin.
Manage accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and delinquencies.
Address resident concerns and organize resident appreciation/retention events.
Ensure adherence to affordable housing program requirements and support audits.
Collaborate with maintenance staff for timely property upkeep.
Prepare reports to monitor community performance and identify improvements.
