Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Southeast region within the Immunology Sales organization. This field-based leader directs District Managers and their teams, owning performance, strategy, and P&L for the region.

Required: BA/BS and 10+ years in pharmaceutical sales with 3+ years of people management; residency in the region; up to 50% travel; strong omnichannel and strategic planning skills. Advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; 10+ years pharma sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
• At least 3 years building and managing customer relationships.
• Resident of the Southeast region with up to 50% travel.
• Experience with omnichannel strategies and cross-functional partnership.
• Strong knowledge of regional healthcare dynamics and access/reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing regional team.
• Own the customer portfolio and overall customer experience across touchpoints.
• Build and sustain relationships with senior leaders and industry authorities.
• Align account plans with payer considerations to optimize access.
• Deliver regional business results and meet P&L targets.

• Contribute to national strategy through cross-functional participation.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business and optimize payer/patient interactions.
