Job summary

Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP is seeking a Business Immigration Associate. You will develop case strategies, research and draft filings, counsel clients, and manage complex immigration matters for corporate employees.

The role requires a U.S. JD or LLM and bar admission, with 2–3 years of associate experience, strong client service, and precise work product. You will collaborate with a diverse team and leverage firm technology to support global mobility initiatives.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and rigorous proofreading ability.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; able to multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategies including researching, drafting, reviewing, counseling clients and triaging initiations.
• Identify and solve escalations and areas of underperformance; communicate with clients and foreign nationals.
• Support clients in immigration program management and compliance; assess eligibility for visa status.
• Prepare petitions and applications; draft letters and legal documents based on precedents.
• Supervise junior associates and staff; mentor and share immigration knowledge.
• Improve quality, efficiency and standardization of processes and services.
