Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP is seeking a Business Immigration Associate in Los Angeles to join a leading global immigration practice. In a collaborative, client-focused environment you will develop case strategies, research, draft documents, counsel clients, and coordinate with global mobility teams. Candidates must have a U.S.

JD or LLM and be admitted to a U.S. state bar, with 2–3 years of associate experience.

Qualificações

• U.S. JD or LLM required.
• Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association.
• 2–3 years of experience at Associate level.
• Expanded practical understanding of immigration law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and fluent prose.
• Dedication to exceptional client service.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop expert understanding of client base and firm practice areas.
• Develop case strategies including researching, drafting, reviewing, and counseling clients.
• Identify and solve escalations and areas of underperformance.
• Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals on procedures and strategy.
• Support client immigration program management and compliance.
• Assess eligibility for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
• Draft and prepare letters and legal documents.
• Supervise junior staff and mentor associates.
• Improve quality, efficiency, and standardization of processes.
