Fragomen, the leading global immigration law firm, seeks a Business Immigration Associate in the San Diego area. You will join a collaborative team focused on corporate immigration matters and work with skilled colleagues on client matters.

Requirements include a US JD or LLM and bar admission, 2-3 years of Associate experience, and strong written/verbal communication. The role offers a hybrid schedule with strong compensation and benefits.

Formación

• U.S. JD or LLM required
• Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association
• 2-3 years of experience at Associate level
• Expanded practical understanding of immigration law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI engines
• Dedication to exceptional client service
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment

Responsabilidades

• Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, counseling clients and triaging initiations.
• Identify and solve escalations and areas of underperformance.
• Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy.
• Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
• Draft and prepare letters and legal documents based on established precedents.
