Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Hawaii is seeking a Resource Specialist to support the Immigrant Resource Center within the Mission Services Division in Hilo. This full-time role conducts case management, counseling, and guidance to help participants access services and achieve goals outlined in their Individual Service Plans.

You will perform intake, develop service plans, provide ESL and financial literacy instruction, and connect individuals with community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus 1–2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to inform eligible communities about available services.
• Completes intake, assessments, and orientations for participants.
• Develops and updates individualized service plans with goals and monitors progress.
• Provides one-on-one consultations about program benefits and assists with enrollment.
• Makes referrals to appropriate services and conducts ongoing case management.
