Job summary

International Institute of St. Louis seeks an Intensive Case Management Caseworker to provide trauma-informed case management, advocacy, crisis intervention, and life skills support to immigrant and refugee clients.

You will collaborate with clients, partners, and staff to overcome barriers and promote independence. The role emphasizes working with immigrant and refugee populations, with qualifications including MSW preferred or BSW with relevant experience, and an Associate degree with 3–5

Qualifications

• MSW preferred; BSW with relevant experience accepted.
• Associate degree with 3-5 years of social services experience also considered.
• Experience working with immigrants, refugees, international populations, or trafficking survivors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client intakes, assessments, and individualized service planning.
• Provide ongoing case management, advocacy, crisis intervention, and referrals.
• Connect clients with community resources, healthcare, benefits, transportation, and interpretation services.
• Deliver life skills training on topics such as budgeting, healthcare navigation, parenting, and public transportation.
• Meet regularly with clients in the office, homes, or community settings.
• Maintain accurate and timely case documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with community partners and agency staff to coordinate services.
• Assist with grant reporting, program documentation, outreach, and community education efforts.
