Job summary

Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County Inc. is seeking a Case Manager to provide intensive case management and lead group programming for refugee services clients.

The role involves coordinating programming, supervising interns, and ensuring timely reporting, with a strong emphasis on counseling techniques, group dynamics, and inter-personal collaboration. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Social Work (LL/LBSW) or related field, with experience in group programming and refugee services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (LL/LBSW) or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in group programming.
• Strong knowledge of counseling techniques and group dynamics.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience supervising and mentoring interns preferred.
• Knowledge of refugee populations or community service experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provides intensive case management and group programming to refugee services clients.
• Coordinate and facilitate group programming activities to meet clients’ needs.
• Supervise and mentor interns within the organization.
• Ensure all program requirements are met and timely reports are submitted.
• Connect clients to external/internal resources to meet goals.
• Maintain client records and documentation across data management systems.
