Job summary

The Resource Navigation and Intake Specialist will support the Education Services team by providing resource navigation to immigrant and refugee students and walk-in clients, and reporting on government contracts as needed. This position will support the Women's Services team by offering intake assessment for potential residents and by offering resource navigation to walk-in clients for Women's Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with marginalized populations preferred.
• De-escalation and diversion techniques training preferred.
• Knowledge of Linn County resources and programs.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Driver's license and transportation required.
• Ability to learn new software and systems.
• Represent the Center professionally.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and students to assess resource needs in Linn County and surrounding areas.
• Provide resources and referrals to community services as needed.
• Facilitate enrollment and support in Education Services and Women's Services.
• Complete accurate case notes and reports and maintain client records.
