The City of Whitewater seeks an Immigration Liaison to assist immigrant and newcomer residents with access to employment, housing, City services, and community supports. This grant-funded, limited-term role collaborates across police, schools, housing providers, libraries, employers, and nonprofits to promote economic mobility and public safety.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish for residents.
• Experience with community outreach, resource navigation, or partnership development.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents in credential evaluation processes and documentation.
• Maintain resource information on local employers, workforce programs, and pathways.
• Deliver or coordinate job-readiness workshops and referrals to workforce resources.
• Develop partnerships to reduce barriers to employment for immigrant residents.
