Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Imaging Call Center professional to support timely communication of imaging results and coordination of patient care. This on-site role interfaces with radiologists, providers, and nursing staff to ensure messages are conveyed accurately and promptly.

The position emphasizes critical result communication, scheduling coordination, and device interrogation workflows within a busy Imaging Call Center environment.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of call center, operator, dispatching, or related office experience.

Responsabilités

• Answer, locates, direct calls to ordering providers when there is an imaging study with a critical result.
• Serve as the first line contact for radiologists, providers, and nursing staff regarding urgent imaging findings.
• Reviews reports and sends proper notification to patients and referring physicians using Epic secure chat, e-fax and in-basket messaging.
• Maintain and manage the critical results tracker to ensure timely communication within required timeframes.
• Verify MRI safety for outpatients with implantable devices through proper interrogation protocols.
• Notify ordering providers when devices fail interrogation to facilitate alternative care planning.
• Work with the Patient Connection Center to ensure timely scheduling of patients post-device interrogation.
• Request and manage outside imaging for exam correlation using Powershare.
• Perform basic office procedures to support the Imaging Call Center's daily operations.
