Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support imaging teams at St Vincent Regional Hospital. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and collaboration in a fast-paced care environment.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting in exams, coordinating care, transporting patients, and performing IV insertion when competent. PRN shifts provide flexible scheduling within imaging services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in patient care or customer service preferred.
• IV insertion proficiency may be site dependent.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the technologist.
• Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and be attentive to needs.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and relocate to/from rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other care providers after procedures.
• Inspect transport equipment and report needed repairs.
• Transport patients to/from Imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
