Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• BLS for Caregivers required or expected.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with imaging staff.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Oversees coordination of patient care and communicates pertinent information to other providers.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass off.
