Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support our Imaging department at St. Vincent Regional Hospital. You will help prepare patients, ensure comfort and safety, and assist technologists in performing diagnostic procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care and adherence to safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment. PRN/as-needed shifts allow flexibility while contributing to patient care goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• BLS certification required for caregivers.
• Patient care or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Assists and/or oversees coordination of patient care.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other care providers after the procedure.
• Inspects transport equipment and notifies when repair is necessary.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
