Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for caregivers required.
• Preferred: patient care or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care under the technologist's direction.
• Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and address their needs.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and to/from rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers after procedures.
• Inspect transport equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Transport patients to and from Imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass-off.
