Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist Aide to support imaging services at St Vincent Regional Hospital. This PRN role assists radiology teams, prepares patients, and ensures comfort and safety throughout procedures.

The position emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and adherence to safety regulations in a fast-paced imaging environment. Prior patient-care or customer-service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or eligible.
• Experience in patient care or customer service preferred.
• IV insertion proficiency may be site dependent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and be attentive to their needs.
• Assist patients on and off procedure tables and in/out of procedure rooms.
• Oversee coordination of patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information after procedures.
• Routinely inspect transport equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Transport patients to/from Imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
