Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support imaging services at St Vincent Regional Hospital. You will assist radiology technologists, help prepare patients, and ensure comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for caregivers is required.

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and be sensitive to their needs.
• Assist patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Oversee coordination of patient care.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other patient care providers after procedure.
• Routinely inspects transport equipment and notifies appropriate personnel when repair is necessary.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass off.
