Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care under the technologist's direction.
• Prepare patients for imaging exams and ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and relay pertinent information to other care providers.
• Inspect transport equipment and coordinate timely repairs when needed.
• Transport patients to and from the Imaging department ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass-off.
