Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support the imaging team at St Vincent Regional Hospital. Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Caregivers.
• IV insertion proficiency may be site dependent.
• Preferred: patient care or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs while in their care.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Oversees coordination of patient care and communicates information to other care providers.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass off.
