Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in California is seeking an Imaging Services Scheduler to coordinate complex imaging procedures across modalities. You will book cases, obtain orders, CPT and billing codes, and ensure all documents, tests, and patient information are ready before procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 3 years of scheduling experience, strong computer and communication skills, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. On-call not required; shift roughly 8:30 to 5.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of scheduling experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong computer literacy and knowledge of scheduling systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Books imaging cases.
• Schedules for all imaging modalities; e.g., CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET/CT, etc.
• Pre-register patients with correct demographics and insurance information.
• Obtain orders to ensure correct information, authorization, CPT codes.
• Coordinate and communicate with patients, physicians, and other departments.
