Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a detail-oriented admissions/clerical professional to support Pre-Registration for scheduled procedures. You will verify patient demographics and insurance, create accounts, and liaise with clinic staff to keep scheduling running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, basic medical terminology knowledge, and proficient computer/typing skills. English fluency is required to ensure accurate documentation and patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in admitting or clerical work preferred.
• Must understand medical terminology.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Accurate data entry and ability to verify insurance details.

Responsibilities

• Verify demographics and insurance information for Pre-Registration.
• Create Pre-Registration accounts for all scheduled appointments.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure scheduling activity remains seamless.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
