Job summary

Vail Health seeks an admissions/clerical specialist to schedule outpatient imaging and testing, verify patient demographics, and pre-register patients for procedures. You will answer calls, collect messages, and coordinate with clinic staff to keep data accurate and appointments running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have prior admitting or clerical experience, strong English skills, and proficient computer ability to complete online requirements and benefit enrollment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital admitting or clerical work preferred.
• Accurate data entry for demographics and insurance information.
• Excellent communication and phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient imaging and cardiopulmonary testing with accurate patient data.
• Handle incoming calls, take messages, and triage as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date demographics and insurance information to support medical necessity.
• Create complete Pre-Registration accounts for all scheduled appointments.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure scheduling continuity when out of the office.
• Demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills.
