Southwoods Health is seeking a Scheduling professional for our Imaging location in Boardman, Ohio. The role focuses on coordinating with physician offices to schedule radiology examinations and providing courteous, timely patient and partner service.

Key activities include handling calls, scheduling with referrals, verifying orders and insurance, and updating EMR data while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualificações

• Completed coursework or training in business office operations, computer applications, and medical terminology.
• Strong typing and computer competencies; prior experience navigating medical databases preferred.
• Previous medical receptionist or healthcare scheduling experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming calls and route inquiries; take accurate messages.
• Schedule imaging exams with referring physicians; call patients to book procedures.
• Verify provider orders; confirm insurance eligibility; enter data into EMR (Meditech).
• Ensure authorizations, preps, and pre-screening docs are obtained before exams.
• Update patient demographics and insurance in EMR.
• Follow facility policies and regulatory requirements.
