Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clerical and computer knowledge required.
• Typing at least 35 wpm.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in healthcare registration or medical imaging preferred; Medicare/Medicaid knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive interpersonal relations to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Provide information and assistance to patients and provider offices.
• Perform third-party payer verification and payer eligibility requirements.
• Initiate service authorizations and document data in ARM.
• Complete scheduling tasks accurately and timely.
• Coordinate scheduling for patients requiring multiple tests and communicate changes.
