Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and service products at hospital sites. You will perform on-site installations, complete acceptance testing, and respond to service events with technical precision.

The role requires independent work, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed to support deployments across the Northwest and beyond, ensuring compliance and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering preferred.
• Minimum years in field service with medical devices.
• X-ray experience across general radiography, fluoroscopy, DR, C-arms preferred.
• Experience with GMP and ISO standards and healthcare capital equipment.
• Ability to access hospital settings and stay up to date with vendor requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Excellent oral, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with customers to coordinate planning, implementation, and service issues for Globus Medical products.
• Installs Globus Medical products on-site at hospitals following official procedures.
• Performs site acceptance testing to demonstrate operational performance per specifications.
• Communicates with customers clearly and demonstrates system functionality.
• Responds to product performance issues by diagnosing, repairing or replacing components.
• Performs preventative maintenance on-site at customer facilities.
• Documents customer feedback, issues and test results per company processes.
• Participates in and helps manage RMA processing.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required to support equipment deployments.
