Job summary

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom seeks a System Engineer I to join the Imaging & Logistics team. You will image, configure, test, and deploy desktops and tablets, while handling inventory and asset tracking to ensure quality and timely delivery.

You will support security requirement adherence, packaging for shipment to customers and government sites, and maintain required clearances as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent IT experience required.
• 0–3 years IT support, hardware deployment, device imaging, logistics, or related operations.
• Good knowledge of Windows OS and hardware troubleshooting; strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and obtain required security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, and deploy desktops, tablets, and similar hardware devices.
• Perform hardware and software testing to verify deployment readiness and quality.
• Receive, inspect, inventory, and track technology assets.
• Apply asset tags and maintain inventory records for accountability.
• Package and prepare equipment for shipment to customer and governmental locations.
• Troubleshoot imaging, configuration, and hardware issues; escalate as needed.
• Follow documented procedures, security requirements, and quality standards.
• Support security requirements for state, federal, or customer programs.
• Obtain and maintain required security clearances and access credentials as needed.
• Support operational improvement initiatives and special projects.
