Job summary

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking an IT Support professional to provide quality desktop and networking support at the site level. You will apply technical expertise to resolve issues, maintain hardware and software, and ensure timely service for end-users.

Responsibilities include expanding knowledge of products and policies, leading or joining team projects to improve support efficiency, consulting with users to determine needs, and training users.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Windows support and Active Directory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Associates degree in IT or related field or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness in addition to performing routine and complex tasks to aid in the ongoing support of site-based microcomputer environments.
• Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods of support delivery, in order to provide technically accurate solutions.
• Lead or participate in team projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of support. Consults with end-users to determine desktop/networking needs.
• Studies vendor products to determine those that best meet user needs, recommending hardware and software packages and standards. Installs new hardware and maintains existing hardware. Installs software and peripherals; and network nodes, peripherals and wiring. Participates in the research of new technologies.
• Documents, debugs, and prepares user procedures. Trains end-users in the use of equipment and software.
