Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Systems Administrator Senior to support a SOCOM customer at Fort Bragg. You will configure deployable/remote kits, image PCs and devices, maintain documentation, and manage ticket queues and asset inventory.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, DoD 8570 IAT II, MCSA Windows 10, and TS/SCI clearance with US citizenship. Linux/Unix knowledge and SCCM experience are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT level II required.
• MCSA: Windows 10 or equivalent certification/experience required.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system architecture.
• Knowledge of server virtualization.
• Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
• Experience with configuration and management of Android and iOS operating systems.
• Experience configuring, managing, and maintaining Windows client operating systems.
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI required to start.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Imaging, install/load, test, and configure images on PCs, laptops, and other configuration items.
• Support desktop imaging and configuration item installation and maintenance.
• Maintain system documentation and knowledge of relevant technologies.
• Control, monitor, and resolve ticket queues and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain inventory and proper disposition of assets; participate in physical inventories and quarterly reports.
