Job summary

Randstad Digital is seeking a Support Technician 1 for an Austin, TX contract role. Responsibilities include imaging machines, replacing hardware, and migrating user data as part of a computer/docking station refresh project. You will work with a SME and a project manager to deliver timely technical support.

Minimum 1 year of related experience, proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs are required. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in help desk, technical services or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to lift and relocate up to 30 lbs.
• Strong customer service and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for a computer and docking station refresh project.
• Image machines, replace computers, migrate user data.
• Collaborate with agency SME and project manager.
• Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and software.
• Maintain security controls and document service records.
• Support applications and hardware problems and assist in testing upgrades.
