Job summary

V Group Inc. in Austin, TX seeks 2 Level 1 Support Technicians for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas on a contract basis. You will perform imaging, PC replacements, and data migration under guidance from an agency SME and a project manager.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of IT support experience, Windows 11 familiarity preferred, and be able to lift 30 lbs. This is an on-site role at the William P. Clements State Office Building.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least 1 year of multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
• 1 year experience in maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
• 1 year experience in providing technical assistance and support for applications and hardware problems.
• 1 year experience in providing excellent customer services; ability to lift and relocate 30 lbs.
• 1 year experience in installing, maintaining, moving, and upgrading hardware and software; security controls over software.
• 1 year experience using WordPerfect and MS Office Suite; working knowledge of Windows OS; strong communication skills.
• 1 year experience assisting, monitoring and supporting system interfaces and data transfers to various databases.
• 1 year knowledge of computer operations, information systems, and information security policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in imaging, replacing computers, and migrating data for the refresh project.
• Work with a SME and project manager to coordinate and lead on-site tasks.
• Windows 11 technical support experience is helpful but not required.
