Tennessee Urology is seeking an Imaging Front Desk Receptionist in Knoxville, TN. The role provides essential administrative support for the imaging department with a strong focus on patient service and accuracy in scheduling and data entry.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling PET/CT imaging, handling payments, and ensuring proper documentation in the EHR. A background in front desk work within healthcare and familiarity with imaging workflows are preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of front office experience, preferably in medical or imaging settings.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and create a welcoming, patient-focused environment.
• Schedule in-house imaging appointments and coordinate prep instructions.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at check-in; enter payments.
• Enter patient demographics, insurance information, and clinical data into the EHR/PM systems.
• Verify referrals and prior authorizations; ensure imaging orders are linked to appointments.
• Reconcile daily payment batches and submit to Site Manager.
• Schedule follow-up imaging studies and coordinate radiologist-directed procedures.
• Assist patients with digital registration or questionnaires.
