Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking a motivated Imaging Service Engineer I to perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance on imaging systems within a service area, with support from technical teams as needed.

The role requires an associates degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to maintain FDA/ISO documentation. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical engineering, electronics or computer science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of field service experience.
• Knowledge of assigned equipment to provide timely repair and maintenance.
• Active listening and strong customer service skills.
• Strong organization and administrative skills; able to maintain FDA and company paperwork.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, meter, diagnostic testers).
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance as directed.
• Performs unscheduled maintenance with the assistance of technical support.
• Work independently on preventative maintenance but typically requires assistance on unscheduled maintenance.
• Performs installations and de-installations of products and peripherals as directed with some assistance.
• Maintain excellent working relations with field personnel, home office personnel, and management.
• Maintain timely and effective communications with management; manage admin duties and reports.
• Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities per Fujifilm policies.
• Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
• Use escalation process and root-cause analysis for problem solving.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed neatly and promptly.
• Occasionally work odd hours and travel as required.
• Promote the image and reputation of HCUS.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Service Manager.
• Comply with FDA/ISO13485 and all applicable laws and standards.
• Pass vendor credentialing requirements to gain access to facilities.
