Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer I to perform scheduled maintenance and some unscheduled service within a defined area, with support from technical teams. The role emphasizes independent work on preventive maintenance, strong customer communication, and adherence to FDA/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical engineering, electronics or computer science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of previous field service experience.
• Knowledge of assigned equipment to provide timely repair and effective maintenance.
• Requires active listening skills and above average customer service skills.
• Requires sound organization and administrative skills, self-starter a must and ability to maintain paperwork to FDA and company required standards.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
• Capable of operating test equipment related to job (oscilloscope, meter, and diagnostic testers).
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance as directed.
• Performs unscheduled maintenance work with the assistance of technical support.
• Work independently on preventative maintenance, with assistance on unscheduled tasks.
• Performs installations and de-installations of products and peripheral equipment.
• Maintain relations with field personnel, home office personnel, and management.
• Maintain timely communications with management; manage admin duties like timecards and service reports.
• Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities and internal service records.
• Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
• Use escalation process to resolve issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Ensure all admin duties and paperwork are completed neatly and promptly.
• Be prepared for odd hours/overtime and travel as required.
• Promote the company's image internally and externally.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Area Service Manager.
• Comply with FDA/ISO requirements and vendor credentialing.
