Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation in New York is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer I to perform scheduled maintenance and some unscheduled service in the region, under guidance of the Area Service Manager.

The role requires an associate degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or computer science, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently with occasional travel and overtime.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Minimum one year of field service experience.
• Knowledge of the equipment to provide timely repair and maintenance.
• Active listening and above-average customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills; capable of paperwork to FDA/company standards.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for explaining technical issues.
• Able to operate test equipment (oscilloscope, meter, diagnostic testers).
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance as directed.
• Performs unscheduled maintenance with assistance from technical support.
• Work independently on preventative maintenance with some assistance for unscheduled tasks.
• Performs installations and de-installations with some assistance.
• Maintain relationships with field personnel, home office, and management.
• Handle administrative duties: timecards, work orders, QA/RA work, reports.
• Maintain customer service records per Fujifilm policies.
• Communicate with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up.
• Escalate issues and perform root cause analysis for problem solving.
• Complete all paperwork neatly and on time.
• Be prepared for irregular hours and travel as required.
• Promote the company's image to HCUS and externally.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Area Service Manager.
• Comply with FDA, ISO 13485, and all applicable laws.
