Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred.
• Previous experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the advanced imaging department, including monitoring schedules and coordinating with technologists and radiologists.
• Upload images to PACS for radiologist review and archiving.
• Contact patients to remind and reschedule appointments, handling late arrivals and schedule conflicts.
• Provide courteous responses to patient and visitor inquiries and offer clear information about procedures and aftercare.
• Coordinate with Patient Access and Financial Counselor to ensure insurance authorizations are obtained or cleared.
