Job Summary

TravelCenters of America provides a convenient, one-stop shopping experience. Our locations feature diverse dining options to meet guest expectations. The Cook plays a vital role in preparing and presenting quality food to ensure travelers leave better than when they arrived.

Responsibilities include:

• Working in a positive, customer-focused environment
• Performing prep tasks like washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients
• Setting up grill, fryer, and broiler stations, preparing products as per guest requests and presentation guides
• Completing prep, freezer pull, and temperature checklists
• Practicing safe food handling, storage, waste control, and reporting unsafe situations
• Maintaining equipment standards
• Prioritizing tasks based on restaurant and guest needs
• Building effective communication with team members and leaders
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• A dedicated team player eager to contribute
• Previous food service experience is a plus
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay Range

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities.
