The State of Georgia's Department of Driver Services is hiring an Identity and Driver Credential Specialist 1 in the Atlanta area. This role supports thousands of residents by issuing learner’s permits, driver licenses, and identity cards while ensuring compliance with state laws and procedures.

You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, interact with a diverse public, handle payments, and may serve as a team lead.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of face-to-face customer service experience in the last 5 years.
• At least 1 year of cash handling, daily reconciliation, and payments in the last 5 years.
• Must have a valid Georgia Class C license and maintain it while employed.
• Ability to work with computer and internet technology.

Responsabilités

• Process applications, records, and documents with accuracy.
• Accompany drivers in vehicles to evaluate adherence to driving laws.
• Conduct driving examinations for motorcycle and commercial licenses.
• Operate visual testing equipment and collect payments via cash or card.
• Provide courteous service in a high-volume center.
