Job summary

Georgia Department of Driver Services in LaGrange is seeking an Identity and Driver Credential Specialist 1 to help issue learner permits, process out-of-state license conversions, and administer driver examinations. You will interact with a diverse public, handle transactions, and ensure compliance with state laws.

This full-time role offers a non-negotiable annual salary of $32,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Eighteen years of age minimum.
• A valid Georgia Class C driver’s license required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Working with citizens to ensure applications, records and documents are completed accurately.
• Accompanying drivers in vehicles to evaluate compliance with Georgia’s driving laws.
• Conducting driving examinations for motorcycle and commercial licenses in accordance with state law and regulations.
• Operating visual testing equipment and processing payments accurately.
