State of Georgia’s Department of Driver Services is seeking Identity and Driver Credential Specialists 1 in Fayetteville. You will interact with the public to issue learner permits, convert out-of-state licenses, and issue driver licenses and identity cards in compliance with state laws.

The role emphasizes accuracy, patience, and excellent customer service in a high-volume setting, with a $32,000 annual salary plus a $3,500 supplement and a path for career mobility within the agency.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Georgia Class C driver’s license required and maintained while employed.
• 1 year of face-to-face customer service experience within last 5 years.
• 1 year of cash transactions experience including daily reconciliation and processing payments within last 5 years.

Responsabilidades

• Work with citizens to ensure applications, records and documents are completed accurately.
• Accompany drivers in vehicles to evaluate adherence to Georgia driving laws.
• Conduct driving examinations for motorcycle and commercial licenses per state law and regulations.
• Operate visual testing equipment.
• Accurately collect payments via cash or credit cards.
