Job summary

The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) is hiring Identity and Driver Credential Specialists 1 in Warner Robins to support issuance of driver licenses and identity credentials. You will work with the public to ensure applications and records are accurate while guiding customers through state procedures.

Position offers full-time employment, a starting salary of $32,000 annually plus a $3,500 supplement, with opportunities for career mobility within the DDS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years old.
• Valid Georgia Class C license required.
• At least 1 year of face-to-face customer service in last 5 years.
• Cash handling experience in the last 5 years.
• Comfortable with computers and internet technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at service centers with applications, records and documents.
• Accompany drivers in vehicles to evaluate adherence to driving laws.
• Conduct driving examinations for licenses per state rules.
• Operate visual testing equipment and collect payments.
• Support center operations and ensure accurate, timely processing.
