State of Georgia’s Department of Driver Services is seeking an Identity & Driver Credential Specialist 1 in Fayetteville. The role involves helping customers complete applications, issuing learner permits, licenses, and identity cards, and administering examinations in compliance with state laws.

This is a high-volume center role with focus on accuracy and service. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Georgia driver’s license, and solid cash handling and customer-service

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
• One year of face-to-face customer service experience within the last five years.
• Experience with cash transactions and daily reconciliation is preferred.
• Comfortable using computer and internet technologies.

Responsabilités

• Process applications, records and documents accurately.
• Accompany drivers in vehicles to evaluate adherence to driving laws.
• Conduct driving examinations for motorcycle and commercial licenses.
• Operate visual testing equipment and collect payments via cash or card.
