Job summary

SSM Health seeks an experienced ICU nurse leader for the night shift at WI-St. Agnes Hospital. The role provides leadership and coordination of unit staffing while ensuring clinical objectives and high-quality patient care are met.

Responsibilities include directing staff, assigning patient care, collaborating with advanced practice providers, and evaluating outcomes. Requires RN licensure and current BLS/HCP, ALS, and NRP/PALS certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from AHA.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
• Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Wisconsin or equivalent compact license.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop patient care assignments accordingly.
• Collaborates with AP providers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Evaluate effectiveness of patient care and address issues affecting outcomes.
• Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
• May provide input for hiring, training, and staff development.
