Job summary

SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Fenton in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the ICU (3S) on the night shift. You will lead and coordinate unit staffing while ensuring clinical objectives and high-quality patient care.

MUST have RN license in Missouri, BLS HCP, and ALS/NRP/PALS certifications as applicable; one year of RN experience required; physical requirements include frequent standing, lifting and moving patients in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Missouri required.
• BLS HealthCare Provider certification required.
• Compact state licensure preferred or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff during shift.
• Assesses daily patient care needs and distributes patient care assignments.
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies issues.
• Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.
• May provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing and evaluating staff.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
