Job summary

SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO, is seeking a capable nurse leader to provide leadership and coordination of unit staffing while ensuring clinical objectives and quality patient care are met.

The role emphasizes collaboration with advanced practice providers, evaluating care outcomes, and guiding staff performance, with a focus on safe, efficient patient care during night shifts.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Missouri or a compact state.
• BLS HCP certification by AHA.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• One year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shift; participates in staff evaluations.
• Assess daily patient care needs and assign patient care accordingly.
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies issues affecting outcomes.
• Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.
• May contribute to hiring, training, directing, developing and evaluating staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
