Job summary

SSM Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU Stepdown in Wisconsin. The role provides direct nursing care for patients requiring complex assessments and interventions in alignment with organizational policies.

Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, teamwork, and evidence-based practice. Requires one year RN experience, BLS HCP, ALS and state-specific licenses; shifts are days Fri–Mon with base wage plus a $15 weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• One year registered nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtains comprehensive data from patient, family, and providers to form a holistic view of needs.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses or care needs.
• Identifies outcomes with patient and care team.
• Develops and implements a care plan with clinical judgment.
• Ensures safe environment and coordinates care with team and family.
• Evaluates progress and adjusts care as needed.
• Communicates effectively with patient and team.
