Job summary

Mercy Health in Lorain, OH seeks a Clinical Nurse II to lead a Care Delivery Team in the ICU. The CN II coordinates nursing care for a patient group, demonstrates clinical leadership, and guides other staff through assessment, planning, and evaluation.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, a state nursing school graduation, ACLS and CPR recertification, and ongoing education. Shift is days, 36 hours weekly, with alternating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• Completion of orientation and probationary period.
• Minimum 12 contact hours of continuing education annually including CPR and Fire Safety.
• ACLS and effective verbal/written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct care for a team of patients within the ICU.
• Coordinate nursing care across assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Precept new employees as assigned and demonstrate nursing leadership.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager and other staff to ensure quality patient care.
