Mercy Health in Lorain, OH is seeking a Clinical Nurse I to lead a Care Delivery Team on the Med/Surg Unit - Lorain - Two West. The CN I performs independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs under CN II guidance, with opportunities to progress to CN II within the Mercy Clinical Ladder.

The role is 36 scheduled weekly hours, evenings/nights, with alternating weekends/holidays. Requires Ohio RN license, BLS/CPR, and ongoing continuing education.

Formación

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license and BLS/CPR.
• Successful completion of general and unit-specific orientation.
• Maintains 12 CE hours annually including Fire Safety & CPR/BLS recertification.

Responsabilidades

• Direct care for a team of patients with CN II support.
• Perform independent assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff across backgrounds.
• Report to Nurse Manager or Administrative Supervisor; supervise LPNs and PCAs.
