Bon Secours Mercy Health in Lorain, OH is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to lead a Care Delivery Team and direct patient care. The CN II demonstrates strong clinical leadership, coordinates nursing activities, and oversees independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for a defined group of patients.

This position requires Ohio RN licensure, completion of orientation, and ongoing CE hours including CPR and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Completes orientation and probationary period.
• Maintains 12 contact hours of CE annually including Fire Safety and CPR re-certification. ACLS is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Care Delivery Team and direct patient care.
• Coordinate nursing care for a defined group of patients.
• Direct assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Precept new employees as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with staff and families.
• On-call responsibilities; reports to Nurse Manager; supervises LPNs and PCAs.
